Disclosures
Referring Member AND Referred (New) Member
Referring Member and Referred (New) Member must meet membership requirements and a minimum balance of $10 must be maintained in savings and all Canyon View Federal Credit Union (Canyon View CU) account requirements must be met. The current and newly referred accounts must be in good standing to receive either bonus. Cash award is treated as interest and will be reported to the IRS as required by law.
Referring Member
Must be 12 years or older. Paid referral bonuses are limited to five ($350 total) in a calendar year. The Referring Member may not refer themselves as the Referred Member. Payout will be posted into your account within 30 days after the qualifying Direct Deposit has been completed by the referred member.
Canyon View CU employees may participate as the Referring Member. Referrals can only be made to individuals with whom there is an existing personal relationship unrelated to their employment at Canyon View CU.
Referred (New) Member
The referred or new member must open a new savings and checking account with a qualifying direct deposit. Upon enrollment in online banking, you must input the referral code you received from the referring member to receive your payout.
A qualifying direct deposit is a new direct deposit and must be at least $1,000 per month for three months (aggregate of $3,000 in 90 days). Direct deposit requirement does not apply to bank-to-bank, peer-to-peer (Venmo, Zelle®, PayPal, Apple Pay©, etc.) wire transfer, or internal transfer transactions. Payout will be posted into your account within 30 days after the qualifying Direct Deposit has been completed.
Program Suspension; Disqualifying Entries
Canyon View CU reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant who has tampered with the operation of the Refer-A-Friend program or is acting in violation of these Official Rules. At our discretion, you may be removed from the promotion and any bonuses revoked if we suspect transaction manipulation or abuse of the promotion rules.
